Seedance 2.0 AI Video Generator

Launched in February 2026 by ByteDance, Seedance 2.0 is a video generation model built for longer clip runs, precise motion direction, and tight audio alignment. Accessible here, it enables text-to-video creation, first-frame image-to-video workflows, and cross-frame (first-and-last) transition control—with support for clips up to 15 total seconds.

Content policy notice

Any non-compliant generation will fail — this is not a scam or a site error. The Seedance 3.0 model has recently tightened content restrictions, and all real human face inputs (selfies, portraits, celebrities) are now blocked at the model level. Violent and NSFW content is also rejected. You can still create amazing videos with illustrations, anime characters, AI-generated faces, or stylized artwork.

How to use Seedance 2.0

Maximize Seedance 2.0 on this page for longer, more purposeful video generation

First outline your scene’s narrative arc, select the control mode that fits your creative vision, then lock in your clip’s duration, aspect ratio, and sound objectives before polishing your generation inputs.

Outline your complete scene arc, not just your central subject

Seedance 2.0 yields better outcomes when you specify how the shot will develop over its runtime, including key action, camera movement, and intended sound design.

Pick the mode that matches your ideal creative oversight

Choose text-to-video for open-ended generation, first-frame mode if your opening shot composition is critical, and first-and-last-frame mode when you have pre-set start and end frames.

Lock in duration and aspect ratio first, then tweak your prompt prompts

Lock in your clip’s runtime, aspect ratio, and output resolution ahead of time, then refine your prompt phrasing instead of adjusting multiple settings all at once.

Best use cases

Top Use Cases for Seedance 2.0

Ideal for extended commercial clips, complex motion sequences, and clips where sound design, pacing, and intentional creative oversight are all equally critical.

Longer launch and brand videos

Use this model for 10–15 second launch clips, hero product shots, and brand motion content where a shorter teaser doesn’t meet your creative vision.

Complex motion with several moving elements

Seedance 2.0 excels for clips with layered subject movement, ambient environmental motion, and more purposeful camera movement.

Audio-aware cinematic scenes

Choose this model when your clip’s sound design, ambient atmosphere, or dialogue-aligned timing is just as important as its visual aesthetic.

Frame-guided transitions and reveals

If you have a set start or end frame in mind, Seedance 2.0 performs perfectly for controlled transitions, product reveals, and storyboarded motion sequences.

Core Benefits of Seedance 2.0

What Sets Seedance 2.0 Apart on This Platform

Seedance 2.0 is perfect for creators who want extended runtime, more complex motion, and audio-aligned pacing all within one unified hosted generation tool.

Extended Runtime for Full Scene Staging

Raising the maximum clip length to 15 seconds broadens the range of scenes you can reasonably have the model generate.

Ideal for when 8 or 10 seconds feel too limiting for your full action arc.

Provides product reveals, sports sequences, and dialogue scenes space to unfold organically.

Perfect for single, complete narrative beats instead of quick, single-frame motion clips.

Superior Support for Complex Motion & Scene Depth

Seedance 2.0 works best when multiple moving elements need to collaborate within one controlled scene.

Shines for industrial motion sequences, sports footage, and multi-layered settings.

Thrives when both subject movement and ambient environmental motion matter.

Ideal for clips that need more than one dynamic moving component.

Audio-Aligned Pacing for Extended Shots

Sound design grows more important as clip length increases, and Seedance 2.0 is a top pick when ambience or rhythm should guide the scene’s pacing.

Perfect for crowd chatter, machinery hum, ambient atmosphere, and dialogue-aligned timing.

Outperforms basic silent-video models when sound is a central component of your pitch.

Ideal for clips where the audio track should complement the pacing instead of being an afterthought.

Intentional Creative Control Without Leaving the Hosted Workflow

This platform keeps user-friendly generation modes including text-to-video, first-frame, and first-and-last-frame transitions, all within one cohesive hosted workflow.

Use text-to-video for open-ended clips with strict pacing needs.

Deploy first-frame and first-and-last-frame modes when your clip needs fixed start or end point oversight.

This makes the tool ideal for product reveals and storyboarded commercial motion content.

What is Seedance 2.0 best for?

Seedance 2.0 excels at long-form ad snippets, cinematic short videos, complex motion with multiple moving elements, industrial or product reveal shots, and audio-aligned videos where sound design syncs flawlessly with visual timing.

Which generation modes are available here?

The Seedance 2.0 tool on this page provides text-to-video, first-frame image-to-video, and first-and-last-frame transition options. Only mode-compatible generation workflows appear in the input form.

Does Seedance 2.0 support audio generation?

Absolutely. Seedance 2.0 offers audio-synced video generation here, making it a far more practical choice than basic silent-video models when ambience, mechanical details, or dialogue timing matters to your project.

Which durations, aspect ratios, and resolutions does it support here?

On this platform, Seedance 2.0 supports clip lengths of 4, 5, 8, 10, and 15 seconds. It works with 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9 aspect ratios, plus output resolutions such as 1280x720, 720x1280, 720x720, 960x720, 720x960, and 1280x540.
